Composer, Saxophonist Dan Plonsey has written hundreds of works for large and small ensembles and has also performed extensively in the USA and Europe. He has worked with Fred Frith, Anthony Braxton, Tom Waits, Eugene Chadborne and many others. Mr. Plonsey also received the prestigious Broad Fellow award for musical excellence in 2009.

Steve Horowitz's 30-year career integrates his experiences as a bass player with his explorations as a multi-faceted producer/composer. His music has been heard at the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco, The Bimhuis in Amsterdam, and The Kitchen in NYC. He frequently collaborates with other artists - joining forces with an eclectic variety of musicians such as electric guitar wizards Elliott Sharp and Henry Kaiser, saxophone greats Lenny Pickett and Ralph Carney, The Clubfoot Orchestra, Glen Spearman and many more. Steve has over 20 albums to his name, a Grammy and penned the original score to the academy award nominated film Super Size Me.

Steve Adams has appeared on more than fifty recordings, and has six recordings as leader or co- leader on the 9 Winds and Clean Feed labels. He received a California Arts Council Fellowship in 2000 and a Meet the Composer grant in 1993, and teaches at Mills College. Steve is a graduate of the School of Contemporary Music in Brookline, MA and studied composition with Alan Crossman, Christopher Yavelov and Thomas Oboe Lee, saxophone with David Birkin and Indian music with Peter Row and Steve Gorn

Scott R. Looney has been making noises on piano and various instruments since age three. He went to the California Institute of the Arts and studied improvisation with Roscoe Mitchell and Wadada Leo Smith, as well as composition and inter-active electronics under David Rosenboom and Morton Subotnick. After a stint in New York City, Scott settled in Oakland and has recorded and/or performed with Oliver Lake, Frank Gratkowski, Wolfgang Fuchs, Jon Raskin (of the ROVA Saxophone Quartet), Joelle Leandre, Henry Kaiser, Gianni Gebbia, Gino Robair, Joe Morris, and Paul Smoker, to name a few. He has played in numerous local and international festivals such as the Ulrichsberger Kaleidophon, San Francisco Electronic Music Festival, Olympia Experimental Festival, Big Sur Experimental Music Fest, and the Line Space Line Festival in LA.

Jim Bove started playing Drums at age 10 and has played and recorded with; Mike Stern, Curtis Ohlson, Ralph Carney, Henry Kaiser, Stephanie and David Wright ,Void Lucy, Trevor Childs, Christy Winn, Evolution Eden, and Michael La Macchia and New Directions plus many others.
